Imperial Moths

Last Monday, I saw two imperial moths on the door and steps of the library at school. They looked like big yellow autumn leaves. I moved them out of the way, so they wouldn't get stepped on or surprise anyone too much. I didn't have my camera with me (bummer!), so here are some pictures I googled.

I was able to get one of the moths onto a twig so I could move it. The other one did not want to cooperate at all. It used its wings to flip over (top-bottom) and thereby move itself. I eventually got it out of the main traffic area, too.
