Last night we had a Joan-a-thon, which meant we watched one whole episode of Joan of Arcadia, which is about how many we can handle at once. We've been getting the disks from blockbuster but are slow to watch them. The episodes are so heavy and depressing sometimes. So we watched one episode and then watched an Ellen DeGeneres comedy special, which made us feel much better :)

Tuesday we went to The Ohio State Fair. I'd never been to a state fair before, and this one was pretty cool. We saw lots of horses (the big ones), some sheep, some cows, a few chickens, two dogs, and one cat. We saw a new born calf and chicks and ducklings. They have a section of Ohio wildlife where we saw native trees, two owls, an eagle, a kestrel, a hawk, a crow, three beavers, an otter, a fox, a badger, a bobcat :), some geese, some ducks, three swans, and a few other animals. There really weren't that many livestock animals around. We watched a horse show, until the organ music started driving us crazy. Ohio is big on horses. They have horse shows all day long. We got there late in the afternoon and stayed until the fireworks which was after 10. We ate fair food and saw the sights. We walked through one of the commercial buildings and tried an electronic pulse gadget on my sore shoulder. It helped me relax, but didn't do much for the pain. There was lots to see and we had a lot of fun.

I worked yesterday, and I work again today. And tomorrow. Then Saturday we are going on a field trip! And we might rearrange the bedroom after Michela gets back from the vet tonight. And I'll finish my trip story sometime, hopefully before I forget :)

Have a good day!

Hi Jenny - I am sorry that Joan is so hard for you to watch. We don't have to watch her, you know. We can watch other things if you want. I love you. Molly

It's not that . . .

It is just a one episode at a time kind of show. There are always lots of emotion and issues to grapple with, so it is a little more work to watch. I still like the program :)

I love you, too!

Jenny

Joan

I love that show. But I am with ya, Jenny...I can only watch an episode or two at a time. Two emotionally provacative. Not like Buffy, where I can watch as many in a row as I want.

By the way, I love you both too! ;)
